"LAHORE: At least seven people died due to extreme hot weather while long blackouts of electricity continued inciting people across the country to launch violent protests and ransack public and private properties, while police have also booked hundreds of them and started investigation. In Lahore, five power houses remained non-functional due to unavailability of fuel, forcing power suspension of at least 12 hours."
