-- That is the stupidest fucking statement I have ever heard. What appears to be happening is that the U.S. and Europe (especially the UK) are readying for an imminent, all-out attack on Iran. The measures to release from strategic reserves are in anticipation of immediate shortages and stratospheric oil prices. Now pretty much everybody understands that Saudi Arabia is past peak and cannot increase production. They are now caught in their own lie. So this serves as psychological prep and sets KSA up as a fall guy. It now seems fairly certain to me that KSA, as a single nation, is about to be carved up into little pieces. After all, the only part that matters to the west is the part in the east... where the oil is... The Shia part... The part that Iran is supporting.
