When we filmed Collapse there were only an estimated 800 million internal combustion-powered vehicles on the planet. So, since, 2008 we have added 200 million more in the name of Growth. Each with 7 gallons of wasted oil in every tire. Each require thousands of gallons of oil to make. And each destined to wind up in a scrap heap polluting the Earth in very short order when there is not enough oil to run them. Maybe they'll serve a purpose as barricades in some riot torn city which would make them the most-expensive barricades in history. -- MCR
