Syndey Morning Herald: US Military Designates Julian Assange an "Enemy of State"
The U.S. military has designated Julian Assange and WikiLeaks as enemies of the United States -- the same legal category as the al-Qaeda terrorist network and the Taliban insurgency. Declassified U.S. Air Force counter-intelligence documents, released under U.S. freedom-of-information laws, reveal that military personnel who contact WikiLeaks or WikiLeaks supporters may be at risk of being charged with 'communicating with the enemy.'

ABC: Iran gives new hint of pre-emptive strike
A senior commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards has warned Tehran could launch a pre-emptive strike on Israel if it was convinced it was about to be attacked.
Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh says Iran will not start a war, but he reportedly told Iran's state-run Arabic language TV channel that it would launch a pre-emptive strike if it was convinced its enemies were putting the "final touches" on an attack.
He said Israel would not do so without America's support and in that case Iran would end up at war with both.
He said a conflict would have unpredictable consequences and could turn into World War III.

Natural News: Shock findings in new GMO study: Rats fed lifetime of GM corn grow horrifying tumors, 70% of females die early
(NaturalNews) Eating genetically modified corn (GM corn) and consuming trace levels of Monsanto's Roundup chemical fertilizer caused rats to develop horrifying tumors, widespread organ damage, and premature death. That's the conclusion of a shocking new study that looked at the long-term effects of consuming Monsanto's genetically modified corn.
The study has been deemed "the most thorough research ever published into the health effects of GM food crops and the herbicide Roundup on rats." News of the horrifying findings is spreading like wildfire across the internet, with even the mainstream media seemingly in shock over the photos of rats with multiple grotesque tumors... tumors so large the rats even had difficulty breathing in some cases. GMOs may be the new thalidomide.

“TEPCO's involvement with anti-social forces and their inability to filter them out of the work-place is a national security issue ... Nuclear energy shouldn't be in the hands of the yakuza. They're gamblers and an intelligent person doesn't want them to have atomic dice to play with.” - Japanese Senator

Reuters via Yahoo News: Anti-American fury sweeps Middle East over film
Fury about a film that insults the Prophet Mohammad tore across the Middle East after weekly prayers on Friday with protesters attacking U.S. embassies and burning American flags as the Pentagon rushed to bolster security at its missions.
The obscure California-made film triggered an attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya's city of Benghazi that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans on Tuesday, the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 al Qaeda attacks on the United States.

Yahoo.com/blogs: Bernanke Goes All In: What It Means for You
"This is a monster, huge, gargantuan change from prior operations. QE1 "cost" $1.7 trillion. QE2 was half a trillion, give or take. The new plan isn't really QE3, because it's never scheduled to end. It is an entirely different, frightening animal."
