CBS News (Chicago): Mob Of Teens Steals $3K Of Jeans From Wicker Park Store (Chicago)
CHICAGO (CBS) – A mob of more than 20 teenagers descended on a trendy Wicker Park shop on Saturday and made off with more than $3,000 worth of Nudie jeans. The store owner now wonders whether the flash mob phenomenon is deserting downtown for the neighborhoods (the suburbs).

My Fox Phoenix: Thieves cause nearly $70K in damage to church's AC units
Expensive air conditioning units are being stolen and or destroyed and according to church officials, the damage has reached nearly $70000 -- but the thieves only got away with a $1000 in materials.

GlaxoSmithKline LLC will pay $3 billion and plead guilty to promoting two popular drugs for unapproved uses and to failing to disclose important safety information on a third in the largest health care fraud settlement in U.S. history, the Justice Department said Monday.

My Broadband: Copper theft is terrorism: Minister
“Cable theft amounts to terrorism as it could lead to a loss of innocent lives,” Deputy Minister of Communications Tembisa Stella Ndabeni told parliament during her budget vote speech in early May 2012.
“The impact of copper theft is that one day we might not be able to access our money from the banks, including social grants, nor will we be able to utilize certain equipment in hospitals due to systems breakdown,” said Ndabeni.
