International Pirates: The Fight for Afghan Riches
An internal Pentagon memo, widely quoted, has referred to Afghanistan as the “Saudi Arabia of Lithium”. That’s not far from the truth. While not exactly a brand new revelation, it has been discovered that Afghanistan holds more than one trillion dollars’ worth of resources. This includes cobalt, oil of course, iron ore, gold, and of course the lithium mentioned in the memo.

Did “Fracking” play a part in today’s 5.8M Virginia earthquake?
