Infratil owned Wellington International Airport  is planning to increase the number of flights per day. In a time when some airlines are going to the wall tenants on neighbouring airport owned land have been given notice. The airport owners are also offering to buy houses to create a buffer zone for noise management.

Different aircraft have different sound signatures. I know because a live close enough to hear them. The worst offender is the 737- 400. These birds must be the noisiest thing short of a military jet.

Why not just get Air New Zealand to replace these jets or better still turn the airport into common gardens for when we need to source food locally.
